Birch House now in use as a residency despite still being under construction

The government has confirmed that Birch House is now in use as an official government residency and base of operations, despite still being under construction.

In an announcement posted to Discord this evening, president JVTA said: "Jonasland is happy to confirm that, following recent progress on its construction, Birch House is now useable as a residency for the president! Birch House is now officially in use as a centre for government operations. Any questions can be directed to the Government."

Birch House has had a rocky history. Planned in late 2022, before the first elections (the one where MikeCube got elected), Birch House's construction has been slow, stalling at multiple points for various reasons. Today's progress allowed for the president's quarters to be officially useable.

It is not clear to the Tribune how long it will take for the rest of the building to be finished.
