Election results (15 Jan 2023)

This is the official results of the first Jonasland presidential election, held on January 15th, 2023.

Four parties participated, and were voted on by six voters. One person abstained.

MikeCube has been elected the second president of Jonasland, by a thin margin of 50%. He will officially become president at 12:00pm NZDT tomorrow. It is likely that many of his policies, including the building of farms, the strengthening of the military, and the furthering of good relations with Name Pending, will go ahead. There are concerns relations with Carrot could turn sour, but it is expected that the JLS Allium project will continue to ahead.

JVTA, the outgoing president and leader of the JSP, said they were "very disappointed", but "are open to working with the new government in any way possible". (In other words, the JSP is open to a coalition with The Block Party.)

Revden and Clamlum will be approached for comment.
