Government confirms date for first election

The government has announced the date of the first election.

The first election will take place on January 15th, 2022. Polls will open at least 24 hours prior, and will close on that day at exactly 3:00pm Jonasland Time, unless delays occur.

JVTA, the president, said today that this development "will advance democracy". They also say that the Jonasland Socialist Party "shouldn't be the only party," and that they'd be open to registering other parties. The party registration deadline is January 5th.
