Just one and a half months after opening, McDonald's Jonasland is seeking to expand outwards.

The chain is interested in setting up several more locations across Jonasland. Particular locations of interest are Agriburg and Azuria, which are noticeably infrastructure-shy and exist as minor industrial zones.

"We want to make our products available to a wider range of people," McDonald's chairperson JVTA told The Jonasland Tribune today. "Henceforth, McDonald's wants to open locations across Jonasland to make ourselves more well known. This will also create new jobs, especially in a country where there's a lot of unemployment - and some homelessness, for that matter. We are excited to see the day when the Golden Arches are a common sight in this country."

JVTA also hinted to us plans for international expansion. "Hopefully, if our Jonasland venture is successful, we can begin considering expanding outwards into other countries."

McDonald's first opened on April 25th, 2023, and was the brainchild of GSC chairperson JVTA. It was the second food retailer to open in Pavaria (after Pavaria Takeaways), and is located across from the Chaos Day memorial and the ill-fated Pavaria Apartments, which are yet to be finished.
