Yesterday, Carrot's government announced its intentions to reform the nation's political system, turning the Carrot Republic into a constitutional monarchy. This includes the formation of a legislature - and the holding of elections.
RoryRDMB, the Carrot King, made the announcement at 4:47pm NZDT yesterday. In his announcement, he outlined the country's electoral system. Voters must be residents (i.e. own a house that is both "of a decent size" and "aesthetically pleasing") within a state. The date of the election is not yet known.
Carrot's reformation will make it the fourth country ever to hold elections, after the Potato Empire, Jonasland, and the Sea Spray Islands.
