As we exit the middle of Carrot Empire's first twenty-four hours, many, including me, have begun to look at the Temple and wonder...
"Is the Potato Empire going to come back?"
The Potato Empire has lost nearly everything but it's king. It's grand jewel, the Potato Temple, has been seized by a group who claim to support all crops - despite their name being the "Carrot" Empire. Their capital - raided. Their fields - looted. Their precious potatoes - destroyed.
Despite these hardships, the Potato Empire seems to soldier on, although it's missing all it's limbs. It continues to claim it's lost territory, but has no control over it. So what now?
The Potato Empire says they wish to wait until March 11th, 2022 - two weeks from the time I write this - to review the situation and take back their land. But survey says they'll fail. This "peacetime" is only going to give the Carrot Empire more time to chop off the head.
Is this what the Potato Empire want? To collapse? Comply? Forfeit their greatest chance at victory?
I can't predict the future, but we can keep our fingers crossed and hope that the option chosen is the correct option for everyone.
