United Realmplex Alliance votes to dissolve

In a crushing blow to server unity, the United Realmplex Alliance today voted to dissolve after four years of operation. The announcement was made tonight by the heads of state in three of the four member states.

"To the citizens of the U.R.A member states, and to the server as a whole, the leaders of the Potato Empire and the Sea Spray Islands, have decided to end the U.R.A.," the announcement read. "We have concluded that this organisation should not continue into the future due to it having no reason to exist within the current geopolitical landscape of the server. We have also decided that the organization is detrimental to both the national security of the organization’s member states, but also the server as a whole. The URA’s industrial capability is insufficient to support the entire organization, and its sheer size and population is no longer needed to counter the threat of the USA now that they’ve been banned.

The organisation's purpose had been coming into question in recent times, especially with Carrot's withdrawal from the organisation on 28 September. Recently, the URA called for internal discussions between its member states. Many gave their opinions, including persons who weren't heads of state (JVTA, who was worried that the dissolution would leave countries like Jonasland unprotected in the situation of war, was the sole dissenting opinion.) Eventually, the heads of state agreed to dissolve the organisation.

The URA was formed on 24 July 2022. It has seen through a number of events such as the Second and Third Great Realmplex Wars, and the Supremacy War. It has often been acknowledged as a platform to advance Potato and Carrot influence across the server. It was also the oldest intergovernmental organisation in active operation.

The now-former member states of the United Realmplex Alliance have not confirmed any plans on whether they will form any sort of separate alliances.
