POLL: Moderation team broadly popular, respondents supportive of recent bans

PMI has conducted an opinion poll on the tenure of the moderator and co-moderator. The opinion poll was conducted between 9 July and 12 July 2026. There were eleven respondents, down two from the last poll of its kind.
PMI asked questions on whether respondents approved of the moderator and co-moderator's tenures, whether respondents supported the recent bans, and who the server would prefer as their moderator.
Kaleidico has found himself to be very popular, with 10 respondents (90.9%) saying they approve of his conduct. Only 1 respondent (9.1%) said they disapproved. JVTA received identical disapproval numbers, but lower approval numbers - 7 respondents (63.6%) approved of JVTA's tenure, 1 (9.1%) disapproved, and 3 (27.3%) said they were unsure.
If Kaleidico repeated these numbers at a future moderator election, they'd be the highest results ever at such a vote - Rory currently holds the record for highest vote percentage at a moderator election (72.7% in October 2023).
The sole individual that disapproved of Kaleidico's tenure said he voted for Basil at the last election. People that voted Kaleidico or JVTA, and people that did not vote, approved of Kaleidico's tenure. Kaleidico voters, however, were mostly divided on JVTA's tenure. The sole Basil voter approved of JVTA's tenure.
The results for the question asking for approval of the bans had a result identical to Kaleidico's approval rating.
Faction-wise, only voters from the USA disapproved of Kaleidico's tenure. There was, however, division when it came to JVTA's tenure.
Respondents were also asked who they would prefer as server moderator. Although Kaleidico topped the numbers here, this was not by a majority; only 36.4% of respondents answered with Kaleidico's name. Four persons received single votes (each equating to 9.1%); these were JVTA (the current co-mod), McTwoPoint0 (who has previously been touted as a possible mod), Pebble (who ran once in the Aug 2025 election and came fourth), and Naboo_lani (who has never run in an election
).
Three respondents did not answer the question; they have been listed in the below graphic as "unsure".
