Potato and Carrot Empires sign treaty together; Temple back in Potato hands

The Temple, with the word "POTATO" now returned to it's original spot atop the Temple's walls.

After what seemed like a long time where the threat of nuclear war dangled over the heads of every single person on Realmplex, the Carrot-Potato Conflict has finally - and thankfully - come to an end.

Yesterday, the Potato Empire and the Carrot Empire signed a treaty signifying the end of hostilities.

The treaty details that, among other things, the Carrot Empire must vacate the Temple.

TaylorWorld seemed quite pleased with the result of the negotiations and the conflict. There has been no word from Rory so far, but we expect comments from him soon enough.

PMI journalist JVTA met with TaylorWorld earlier on Thursday evening. He did give us a copy of the treaty, but JVTA was wondering if potato ice cream was also in supply of the potato king.

The effects of the treaty are already being felt.

Potatoes are once again growing in the Temple's vicinity. While the potatoes there are currently low in number, it is expected that large swaths of the Temple's farmland will be flooded with an abundance of potatoes in the coming weeks.

The giant "CARROT" sign on the Temple has been replaced with the "POTATO" sign that was previously donned by the Temple prior to the conflict.

And the two most notable changes, or at least the most notable in our eyes, is that all of the chickens we previously saw are now gone, and that a hole housing a beacon that JVTA fell down once while visiting the Temple, is now filled with water.

Shockingly, this water isn't affecting the beacon one bit, but I'm not a scientist, so I can't really comment.

Potatoes have now returned to the walls of the Temple.

But all is not lost for the Carrot Empire. PMI has been informed that a new Carrot Temple is being built upon a location so far unknown to the general public. From what we have learned, the new temple will be similar to the Potato Temple - with the obvious difference being that the Temple will be for Carrots instead of Potatoes.
