The UCCR has announced the completion of the CNS Valiant, the newest addition to their naval fleet.
The ship was first commissioned in 2022, and has been subject to numerous delays due to the relocation of Carrot's attention to various other projects. However, construction later started four days ago as Jonasland and the Potato Empire began to divert their own attention to their naval ambitions.
The ship is the first of Carrot's new Ambassador class ships, nicknamed "super cruisers", a series of ships which have led to speculation among some people of a possible arms race. According to the Realmplex Wiki, the ship is armed with 4 6-inch guns, and 3 4-inch deck guns. The ship is powered by 4 C-type turbines, with 4 screws, allowing for a top speed of 26.5 knots, making it the fastest ship on Realmplex to date. The ship has one rudder, and is very maneuverable.
King Rory I gave a statement to PMI talking about the Valiant and it's construction.
"I am pleased to announce that the CNS Valiant, after many delays, has been launched. This “super cruiser” deserves it’s nickname, as the Valiant is the largest cruiser on the server made thus far, and the fastest. To any nations wishing to create a navy, I am willing to design warships, for a price, which can be negotiated. As of right now I already have the Ambassador class design nearly ready for export."
The Ambassador class of ships is also being used by Jonasland, who recently commissioned the UCCR to construct a set of ships for the J.A.F., though in Jonasland they are known as the Flower class, named after the JLS Allium, the first ship that will be constructed.
