The Carrot Empire has declared war on Potato Empire.
The announcement came at 4:10pm NZT, alongside an announcement regarding the cancellation of alliance plans with Wheat Kingdom.
The announcement, posted on the Carrot Empire's Discord server, reads the following:
I would just like to announce that UCC has been disillusioned, it was a joint decision by myself and pebble, and I wish him good fortune in the future. Another thing I’d like to announce is that Carrot Empire is officially declaring war on Potato Empire due to breaches of the treaty of Marineville, and I will only accept an unconditional surrender from potato empire. And one final word for king taylor, I’ve tried to negotiate with you many, many times, but you have demonstrated time and time again that you are unwilling to settle for peace, so I’d like to say, you brought this upon yourself.
The reasoning behind the conflict is that Carrot Empire alleges violations on the Treaty of Marineville, the treaty which ended the Carrot-Potato Conflict back in March.
Comments from the world leaders are expected within the next day or two. Meanwhile, the Potato Empire's official communications channel has put out the following message:
THE CARROT EMPIRE HAVE DECLARED WAR ON US WE MUST ACT NOW AND FIGHT BACK
